Position Overview:
As a Draughtsperson, you will be part of our Operations Department, where you will be responsible for processing new sales orders and providing technical support to ensure products meet customer requirements. You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth project execution, timely deliveries, and accurate design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales orders promptly to avoid delays in delivery.
- Communicate with customers during project launches to clarify requirements and ensure the timely creation of drawings aligned with project schedules.
- Create project-specific drawings in accordance with technical product documentation, specifications, and installation constraints.
- Ensure all necessary site information is prepared and available to engineers for smooth execution of site activities.
- Provide technical assistance to engineers and subcontractors regarding design changes or technical queries.
- Produce accurate contract drawings to meet project timelines.
- Oversee product purchasing, ensuring the best possible discounts from suppliers and consistent cost review throughout the project.
- Promote a positive corporate image and uphold safe working practices at all times.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of AutoCAD LT (essential).
- Excellent IT skills and experience working with various design and technical documentation.
- Understanding of working within contract constraints and customer specifications, with the ability to provide effective engineering solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to listen to customer needs and provide practical problem-solving solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- A proactive and solution-driven mindset with a passion for overcoming daily challenges.
