About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Divisional Financial Controller to join our team, reporting to the and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of our Pacific and North East Asia division. Based onsite in Oakleigh, this senior leadership role will drive financial planning, internal controls, risk management, and process improvements across the division.
In this role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal control frameworks, and lead efficiency initiatives to enhance our business operations. You will also oversee financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning to provide data-driven insights that support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the FP&A function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including management reports and board presentations.
- Maintain integrity between the HFM system and ERP and resolve discrepancies.
- Work with Internal Audit to strengthen compliance and control frameworks.
- Implement policy and procedure enhancements to reduce reliance on key personnel.
- Improve ERP system controls and conduct access reviews.
- Standardize balance sheet review processes and ensure proper documentation.
- Identify risks and opportunities, implementing proactive strategies for financial stability.
- Lead efficiency projects to optimize financial operations and reduce administrative costs.
- Drive automation and ERP system improvements in collaboration with IT.
- Manage one FTE for business partnering activities to support financial projects.
About You
We are looking for a proactive, strategic finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multinational environment with the following:
- 8-10 years of experience in FP&A and P&L management (manufacturing experience is a plus).
- Degree in Accounting, with CPA or CA qualification.
- Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead projects, implement process improvements, and influence stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.
- Ability to navigate complex financial structures, drive compliance, and manage risks effectively.
- Able to travel domestic or international as required
