Functional Lead, SAP (FICO)

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic SAP Functional Leader with a specialization in Finance and Controlling (FICO) to join our team in Lake Forest, California. This role involves global SAP responsibilities, requiring a leader who can manage complex, multinational SAP FICO systems and processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global SAP FICO Leadership: Lead SAP FICO functions globally, ensuring alignment with international financial processes and standards.
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop and execute a global SAP FICO strategy that aligns with the organization's financial goals and objectives.
  • Project Management and Execution: Manage and oversee global SAP FICO projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and project success.
  • Business Process Optimization: Analyze and redesign financial processes and controls to maximize efficiency and accuracy using SAP FICO.
  • System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain SAP FICO modules, ensuring they meet global and local requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Work closely with other SAP module leaders and IT teams to ensure cohesive and integrated ERP solutions.
  • Training and Support: Develop comprehensive training programs for global users and provide ongoing support for SAP FICO-related issues.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with global financial regulations and best practices in SAP FICO usage and data management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from team members to executive leadership, across various global locations.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in SAP FICO, with a proven track record in a leadership role managing global SAP environments.
  • Strong understanding of global financial principles and regulations.
  • Experience in managing large-scale SAP projects and cross-functional teams.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in SAP FICO, with a proven track record in a leadership role managing global SAP environments.
  • Strong understanding of global financial principles and regulations.
  • Experience in managing large-scale SAP projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in Merger and Acquisitions, Carve Out and Financial Calendar change is a must.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Proficient in change management and process optimization.
  • SAP FICO certification is highly desirable.
  • SAP S4 HANA Implementation and Support Experience a Plus.

Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

 

Pay Range: $126,256-$185,176.

 

This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
